
Final touch up 6/8 weeks - LIPS
Any adjustments in color and shape can be addressed at this appointment.
Often a touch up is not needed and this is AWESOME, then it means your skin has retained pigment very well! If you are not sure , please send us a picture and we will be able to guide you in the right direction!
If the complimentary appointment was missed or not rescheduled in timely matter (48 hours prior to the appointment) , there will be a charge of 20% of the cost of the procedure ($110) .
Final touch up procedure must be completed within 6 to 8 weeks after the initial session. After 12 weeks it will be considered a yearly maintenance.
For clients who are prone to cold sores!! Pre-procedure medication, such as VALTREX must be taken 500mg/ twice a day for 5 days. Starting 2 days prior to the procedure. To avoid any complications.
Ensure that you keep your lips in healthy condition, daily moisture, lightly exfoliate a few times per week to remove any dead skin. Make sure there are no blisters or sores on your lips.
-Don’t wear makeup to your appointment, as it will be removed at the site of the treatment
-Bring sunglasses to wear home as your eyes may be sensitive to light after the treatment
-DO NOT wear contacts to the appointment
-Please do not work out the day of the procedure as your body heat will expand the pores.
-Please don’t tan / sun bathe no less than a week before the procedure
-Do not drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of the procedure in large amounts!
-Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
-Do not get facials, peels, botox fillers or any treatments at least 2 weeks before .
Individuals under 18 years of age must have parent present and sign a consent form
Some forms of diabetes
Pregnant and lactating women
Glaucoma
Skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the Site that are to be treated.
People with allergies to makeup or colors
Those with easily triggered post inflammatory hyperpigmentation are not good candidates
Those with transmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis
Active skin cancer in the area to be tattooed
Are a hemophiliac
Have healing disorders, on blood thinners, uncontrolled high blood pressure or had mitral valve Disorder.
Those on any skin medication such as roaccutane (isotretinoin), steroids which thin and oversensitive the skin
Let us know if you have/had allergic reactions to topical anesthetics. Other Contraindications
AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, fading can discolor your permanent makeup.
Flu or Cold: Please stay home, reschedule your appointment if you have cold or flu or sinus/respiratory infection.
Cancers/Chemotherapy/Ongoing radiation
Laser eye surgery: Wait about 3 months for eyeliner procedure. All other permanent makeup procedures are ok.
Juvederm or other “fillers”: Get permanent makeup first or ask your juvederm tech for clearance.
Shingles (varicella): If you have shingles on your face, wait several months to get permanent makeup.
Cold Sores: Clients with a history of cold sores need to premedicate with an antiviral drug (Zovirax, Valtrex, or Acyclovir) prior to a lip coloring procedure.

Exposure to UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading
Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the treatment area
Touching of the treatment area except for when applying the post-care ointment with a cotton swab
Picking, peeling, or scratching of the treatment area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris
Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds
Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles

Immediately following the procedure, lips will feel tight and tender to the touch. They may appear swollen and bright in color.
Day 1 ( day of the procedure):
2 hours after treatment, apply light pressure on lips with a clean moist paper towel or a cotton swab, to remove any lymph , repeat blotting your lips every hour to two. Wash your lips with mild soap before bed and apply the ointment provided.
No kissing, rubbing or friction on treatment area
Day 2-7
Apply ointment on lips several times a day. Keep lips moist at all times.. After every meal gently rinse and clean lips with water and pat dry, then re-apply ointment. Do NOT use any lipstick or gloss.
*Carefully brush your teeth and floss.
*Drink out of the straw. Do not drink very hot beverages.
* Avoid oily, spicy and heavily seasoned food and eat small bites.
WEEK 2
Lips are done peeling.. You may return to normal routines. Lips will continue to heal, up to 4 weeks. Every week more color will surface, it is important to continue keeping lips moist to get the best color retention.
If you have had your eyebrows/eyes/lips previously tattooed/microbladed in the past elsewhere and are interested in a cover-up/re-work, you MUST email or text us some clear photos prior to booking your appointment.
We cannot guarantee results for cases such as these and we must approve that your eyebrows/eyes/lips are workable. In most cases where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended.
We understand that last-minute emergencies sometimes happen. However, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.
We require 48 hours of advance notice for all appointments, including consultations, complementary & annual maintenance. No exceptions.
No refunds will be given on the booking fee due to late cancellations (less than 48 hours before your appointment) or no-shows.
If you would like to reschedule your appointment, you can do so by sending us an email or a text at any time up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment or do it yourself by signing in to our booking system.
Out of respect and consideration for your cosmetic tattoo artist and other clients, please do your best to arrive on time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late (if you feel you will be late, please let us know in advance so that plans can be made), we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and no refund will be given for your booking fee in this situation.
We are aware that life happens and are sympathetic, but we often have another client after the initial one and it would be unfair for them to have to wait for their appointment. If any of these situations do occur and you still wish to have the procedure, a new non-refundable booking fee and scheduled appointment will need to be made.
The non-refundable booking fee is to ensure that you are serious about coming to your scheduled appointment. We want to make sure no one’s time is wasted.
A 20%, non-refundable booking fee is applied to the cost of your procedure, and is due at booking. The remaining 80% of your balance is due immediately after the initial service is complete.
No refunds will be given for any services that have been scheduled.
